DATO’ HJ ABD RAHMAN BIN HJ IBRAHIM D.S.D.K, J.P.

Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman born in Kedah on 29th October 1946 is the Executive Chairman of Rahman Brothers. He was granted with Dato’-ship by Sultan Of Kedah in 2000. He was recognized by his contribution in trading industry. He also conferred Anugerah Khas Ma’al Hijrah 2015 from Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (Anugerah Abdul Rahman Bin Auf – Korporat) and Anugerah Maulidur Rasul 2018 from JAKIM.

In year 1960, Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman took Malaysian Education Certificate (MCE) and later he became the policeman. He set up his small business by selling carpets from door to door and vended in night markets around Johor Bahru. Subsequently, he forayed into the used car business by selling used cars from Singapore in Johor Bahru and in the rest of Peninsular Malaysia. His determination, courageous and hard work made him succeed and managed to overcome the hustles and problems before garnered the initial success. Later, in 4th March 1980, he set up Syarikat Rahman Brother Motor Sdn Bhd that later acquired with AP Quotas by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed who during that time was the Minister of Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI). With the foundation of his company, Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman began to import reconditioned cars from both Japan and Europe Country who known for their reputable car makers and absolute production quality. Since then, Syarikat Rahman Brother Motor Sdn Bhd has been expanding and be one of the successful AP Holder in Malaysia as at now.

In 1986 embarked a new light of hope on Kumpulan Rahman Brothers as Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman transferred his business base from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur. Diversification took place in the form of Leisure & Hospitality, Travel & Tours, Property, Housing Development, Construction as well as International Trading & Logistics. As a devout Muslim, Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman, never forgets his responsibility towards caring and sharing with those in need. He set up Yayasan Sedhar in 2006, a non-profit organization for his corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and charity works.

DATIN HAJAH AMINAH BINTI ABDUL RAHIM

Datin Hjh Aminah is the Co-Founder of Kumpulan Rahman Brothers together with Dato’ Hj. Abd Rahman. She born in Penang on 10th August 1946 and schooled in Singapore, on year 19xx. She’s married to Dato’ Hj Abd Rahman in 1966. Since the early days from Azah Enterprise in 1976 to the prominent KRB formed in 1994, she plays a big part in assisting Dato’ Hj. Abd. Rahman in pursuing his ambition that finally put KRB majestically in the business map. She becomes the backbone for Dato’ Abd Rahman and the Company. As at now, Datin Hjh Aminah is the Director for Kumpulan Rahman Brothers Sdn Bhd, Rahman Brothers Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, Rahman Brothers (Saga) Sdn Bhd, Rahman Brothers Construction Sdn Bhd and Yayasan Sedhar.

RABIATUL ADAWIYAH BINTI DATO’ HJ. ABD. RAHMAN

Rabiatul Adawiyah born in Johor Bharu on 21st july 1971. She took SRP in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Engku Tun Aminah, JB on 1985. In 1986, she studied at Subang College in Stenographer Course. Later, she obtained Certificate of Tourism Studies by Reliance Training Corp. on 1991, ABACUS Ticketing on 1999 and IATA Course on 2004. Later in 2004, she joined Rahman Brothers Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd in Johor Bharu as Tour Coordinator where she gained and acquired skills & knowledge in reservation, airlines ticketing and touring. She obtained her Tourist Guide Certificate conducted by MATTA when she was 23 years old. Prior to joining Rahman Brothers Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, she worked for 1 year as Personal Assistant to Executive Chairman cum Executive Corporate Affair for Kumpulan Rahman Brothers Sdn Bhd in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Furthermore, in 2005, she has been designated as Property Manager under Kumpulan Rahman Brothers Sdn Bhd where now, she is responsible in managing and oversee the day-to-day operations in the unit to ensure all assets and properties are handled properly. Prior to her attentiveness in trading industry, she became the Director of KRB International (Shanghai) Ltd for 5 years to overseas the day-to-day operation of trading business and ensure the services produced meet or exceed company quality standards.

In the same time, she has been appointed as Executive Director of Rahman Brothers Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd on September 2014. Her main role is to ensure the achievement of the determined objectives of the Company, specifically to generate profit and improve the organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Presently, she is holding the Property Manager position and play an important role to assisting the Directors to seeking new or potential property and assets to purchase to expand the Company business.

MOHD. FAIRUZ BIN DATO’ HJ. ABD. RAHMAN

Born in Johor Bharu on 16th May 1977. Mohd Fairuz has joined Syarikat Rahman Brothers & Rakan-Rakan Sdn Bhd as Job Controller on May 1998. Before that, he worked at Success Leisure Sdn Bhd for 1 year in Sand Mining Unit. He gained 7 years experiences in Syarikat Rahman Brothers (Saga) Sdn Bhd from 1998 until 2005 as Director. His main role was to develop and execute the company’s business strategies, provide strategic advice to the board and preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement.

In 2003, Executive Chairman has appointed him to incharge all businesses and operations in the Southern Region including Rahman Brothers Motor Branch in JB. In 2015, he has been appointed as Executive Director in Sand Mining Unit under Rahman Brothers Perumahan Sdn Bhd. Presently, he holds huge responsibilities to ensure that all business operation in Southern Region in order, developing and executing the company’s business strategies, providing strategic advice to the board and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement.
